A member asked:

What does it mean to have stress-induced seizures? and can a brain mass still be dangerous if they said its be nine?

Depends: Seizures are uncontrolled electrical activity in the brain. If you were told you had stress-induced seizures, they may be pseudoseizures or non-electrical seizures which are difficult to treat. Brain masses can be benign, but without knowing exactly what kind of mass and where it is i can't state whether it will ever be dangerous or not. Your doctor should be able to answer the question.

?epilepsy: You do not seem to be taking any anti-epileptic drugs. Do your doctors feel you have Non-epileptic seizures, which are caused by emotional stress? Is this fully clarified? If not, could be more certain with a 3 day ambulatory EEG. If you do have a brain mass, it should be followed by serial MRI's. Would a Concierge visit with one of our neurologists be helpful?
