Im having parathyroidectomy. will surgery leave a strong odor on patient similar to tonsillectomy ?

No : Odor from tonsillectomy comes from bacteria growing in open wound in your mouth/throat. Parathyroid surgery is performed sterilely and there is no open wound. No odor issue at all in my experience.
