See an ENT doctor: Do not self-medicate. See an ENT doctor for evaluation and treatment. (s)he will order the appropriate studies to determine the reason for persistent or recurrent middle ear fluid in a 21-year-old, then explain all needed medical ; surgical treatments. (s)he will also order an audiological exam to determine your degree of hearing loss, if any. Stop messing around, with your hearing at stake.

Go to doc: Just gotta go to the doctor. Why do you think it is an infection? There are a variety of thing that can cause ear symptoms including hearing loss.
