Chest pain: The most common pain in 9 year old is muscular pain. The most common is costochonritis, which is inflammation between ribs and rib cage. Other causes are asthma and acid reflux. Using pain medication might help.

Heart burn?: is the question about pain in the chest in the 9 year old, or in the parent? If you, as the parent, have that chest pain when your daughter shouts, it's probably a stress reaction, leading to acid reflux and heart burns. you might check with your doctor to see if he would recommend an acid controller. Also work on your stress reduction techniques
