Time to see your doc: Chest pain described as burning that is not relieved with antiacids needs medical attention. Otc meds such as prevecid, tums, prilosec, zantac can be tried, but if it continues, you may have something else, like a stricture or severe peptic ulcer or bleeding ulcer. You will need carafate (sucralfate) and other prescription meds. You may need a scope to verify the problem. You may need a test for h.Pylori.
