Ease into it: Often, when a topical retinoid is prescibed such as stieva-a i recommend easing into the treatment. General recommendations are to use it every other day or every third day for around 2 weeks. After this time start to use it every night. Always apply some moisturizer after application of the medicine to help with any irritation that may arise.

Stiev-a: You can start out using 3x/wk to see how your skin responds, but it was designed and approved to be used nightly. You can always increase the number of days using if you don't get a good response.

Ask your doctor: As with all rx medications, steiva-a should be used as directed by your physician or whomever prescribed it. Your care provider should always be the first to comment on dosage, etc, because no one else knows your condition as well, including how sensitive your skin may be, how difficult your condition is to treat, etc. Don't let others direct you unless they are directly involved in your care.
