Vertigo: Even though you do not feel sensation of head or environment movement , it is still a manifestation of vertigo. Get treatment for vertigo.

Vertigo: You are describing vertigo, a sense of motion that doesn't fit with what you are actually doing. Most often it is innocent, but can occasionally be a symptom of a serious condition, so i would recommend a visit with your physician.

Consider BPPV: By "on a boat" do you mean kind of dizzy, like the room is moving/spinning? Sometimes your inner ear and the nerves that travel from there to your brain can cause this symptom. It's called benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, "paroxysmal" meaning we don't know exactly why it occurs. Certain positions of your head can exacerbate the symptoms, and you may not even be aware of what you are doing.
