About
Bio
I went to medical school with the thought that I wanted to be everyone's doctor. My training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and experience in hospital and emergency medicine has made me just that. I have treated everything from temper tantrums to blood clotting disorders to cardiac arrest (and that was just last shift) in patients from preemies to centenarians. I find every case interesting in some way and continue to be fascinated and totally engaged in my profession. My job is to share what I know with you in a way that will, ideally, make your life better.

7-14 days: While a common cold cannot be "cured", it will run its course within 7 to 14 days. Antibiotics are not helpful for the common cold but there are a few supplements that have been shown to increase your body's immune response to the virus, including zinc, vitamin c, and echinacea.
