SNRIs: There are new classes of drugs called snris (serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors) along with the old standard nsaids. Morphine relieves pain, but as you know is addicting. Drugs in the ssri categories can also help. You need to discuss these drugs with your provider.

Try other: Medications such as alternating tylenol (acetaminophen) with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications such as as ibuprofen. Talking with your primary care provider about a medication such as tramadol maybe an option. It sounds like you have multiple conditions contributing to your discomfort and you should have someone monitoring these medications if you are to add or change your regiment.
