Hello docs, i'm 38 yo and i have undiagnosed burning pain almost everywhere. i've been on pmeds for 20 yrs n the main narcotics from methadone to oxycodone and nothing helps at all. is it time for the internal morphine pump? what should i do? thanks?

More narcotics will most likely not make this better. You need to see a doctor with experience treating those with centralized pain syndrome.

Cannot endorse the chronic use of narcotics for an undiagnosed pain condition. Certainly, one possibility might be Centralized Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, but would also wonder about a Small Fiber Neuropathy or chronic Fibromyalgia. A second opinion appears in order. Find a pain specialist at a nearby medical school.
