Prutruted tongue : Prutruted tongue in a new born need to be cheched out, it can be due to a small mandible, a large tongue or we worry about congenital hypothyroidism but that has other signs & symptoms & all newborns are screened for it after birth, the result goes to your doctor or hospital. So call your doctor to get the result of neonatal screening & have him checked by his pediatrician. Good luck.
