Metabolism: You may need more than 3500 calories a day. You may be mostly muscle and low in fat. Try having 2 -3 ounces of nuts a day or a nutritional drink containing an extra 250-300 calories a day. You should be able to gain a pound in 2-3 weeks providing you dont cut back your calories and actually do increase your intake.
