No idea: That is very strange. That is a simple 5 minute procedure so not sure why there would be any concern. Such a strange thing you might want to ask if there was a complication.

Fluid overload: In order to see something inside the womb with the hysteroscope your doctor needed to extend the womb with constantly running saline solution. Some of it is retained in the body. The longer the procedure takes the more fluid can potentially be retained. There are precautions, though, to avoid a fluid overload. I congratulate you to having a doctor who is so conscientious.
