Psychologic approach: Recognize several facts: 1. Instant gratification is not happiness; 2. Tobacco is a cheap packaged substitute for happiness, designed to satisfy poor people; 3. There are other – less destructive – things in life that can make you happy (make a list); 4. Tobacco industry is controlling your life; get mad!

Use your hate: Just this once, resolve to let your anger and hatred guide you. You were tricked into becoming addicted to the worst possible substance, guaranteeing harm to your health, just so the tobacco company executives could get your money. Whatever else gives you strength to quit, resolve that those bastards won't continue to get rich off you.
