Smoking & homeopathy: Homeopathy can help many addictions on a deep level. Selecting a remedy requires careful understanding of you as a whole person; picking up something generic from whole foods without this, is guessing. Remedies such as nux vomica, lobelia, and staphysagria have helped others -- professional case-taking is still needed, though. Acupuncture may offer a simpler protocol, and be effective also.

There are no: active ingredients in homeopathy products. They are placebos. However, placebos can help people when state of mind plays a role in the outcome. This is true even when patients know they are taking a placebo! Because they contain no active ingredient, true homeopathic products are safe. Some products sold as homeopathic do have active ingredients, so read the label carefully. Best of luck!
