Painful?: It looks like you have a GYN who is doing all of the right tests. So what does she/he recommend? In my practice, I recommend surgery for cysts this size that are painful. Cysts that are not can get serial ultrasounds. Most of my patients with cysts this size have opted for surgery since pain from these masses can escalate if they enlarge.
