Unrelated: Ambien (zolpidem) withdrawal should not be associated with fasciculations. You may have "rebound" insomnia but should not have much of any other trouble directly due to stopping ambien (zolpidem). It does not bind to the receptor subtype that shows tolerance or anti-epileptic activity which is why it can be safer than older generation hypnotics.
