Which is safer for a child- mri under deep sedation, or low-dose ct scan with no sedation? this is to evaluate complex kidney cyst.

It depends: The best study really depends on what the doctor is trying to evaluate. Certainly having no sedation may be safer than a procedure with sedation, but may not give as accurate a picture of the kidneys. Children are frequently sedated for imaging procedures because excessive movement will make the study unreadable.
