My sister had s ct scan and they found bumps on her thyroid glands...what could this possible mean... she was diagnosed with lymph node infection?

Needs to clarify: Thyroid gland 'bumps'? - make sure is not thyroid gland nodules. She may need a thyroid/neck us which is better to asess the thyroid gland. Depending on us findings she may need additional evaluation. A lymph node infection should not give her thyroid nodules. Please have your sister see a doctor.
