Dry mouth? Other gla: The submandibular glands (under the jaw) r glands that produce saliva, but not the only ones (the parotid gland is much larger). They looked small, & may b shriveled (atrophic), according to the Radiologist. If the other glands r also abnormal, u cd experience dry mouth; rarely, autoimmune dz. But w/o such symptoms, this is an incidental finding unrelated to why u got the CT neck scan in 1st place
