High protein: If you are going to work out at the gym, give your body some fuel before you go, but nothing heavy to slow you down. I would recommend high protein food, such as an instant breakfast type shake. You could have somthing with peanut butter or an energy bar with some carbs for energy and fuel and protein to help build muscle mass. Also, hydrate well after not drinking all night. Good job!
