A member asked:

The first 4 days after being bitten by an unvaccinated dog, could my saliva be infective of rabies to people or animals?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: The chance that the dog had rabies is low, and for you to have a viral load high enough (even if the dog were rabid) to infect someone within 4 days is very very very low.
