No: Teething should not produce any elevation of temperature over 100.5. If no other symptoms at this time, make sure to offer extra fluids and then just monitor to see if any other new symptoms show up. If rash on trunk in a couple of days, could be roseola "baby measles", very common viral illness at this age.

Not associated: A fever of 103 is not caused by teething. Please call your pediatrician to address the fever and for teething advice. Know that 1st dental appointment recommended at age 1.
