Don't worry: If it is soon after surgery ( 1-2 weeks) it is either a servo a or hematoma. They are similar collections of fluid at the incision sight, one has more blood mixed in. Your surgeon can drain this to reduce the pain or it might open up and drain by itself. This is pretty dramatic but not a big problem. If it does this, calmly go to the er/doctor and get checked.

Don't be scared: It will eventually resolve and go away. It looks bad now, but if they evaluated it and determined it is a hematoma, then it most likely is. They probably told you to put warm compresses on it, etc. If pain doesn't improve, then call your doctor (the one who removed the ovary) about the next step.
