A member asked:

I was recently diagnosed with a mass on my left ovary that is " consistent with a hemorrhagic cyst ". it originally measured 5.7 x 4.0 x 6.9 cm and now measures 3 x 2.5 x 2 cm. my question is how significant is the reduction in size and how concerned sh

Significant...: Hemorrhagic cysts will usually go away with observation over time as your body absorbs the blood. Since this cyst has decreased significantly in size it is likely not serious and will probably go away on its own. I wouldn't be too concerned at this point. Getting a f/u ultrasound to confirm that it is gone would be prudent. Best wishes!
