Back injections: There may be multiple issues- if you are on blood thinners there may be complications if stopped or held prior to injections. The concern may be closing off new stents or grafts in the absence of the thinner. Injections can also involve steroids which can impair healing or control of blood sugars.

Risk: If you are on dual antiplatelet therapy the risk of stopping potentially could outweigh the benefits.
