Patience: It can take quite a while to recover from a serious illness. Start by realizing that and resting when needed. Begin a very gentle exercise program with walking, Pilates or yoga. Start with 10 minutes twice a day and go up slowly every week. Eat well avoiding high fat/carb foods. Reach out to friends, socialize, laugh.
