I had bacterial meningitis 4 yrs ago and recovered. as a result of the illness, i now have chronic fatigue immune dysfunction syndrome (cfids). am i at higher risk of getting covid 19 and for it to be more severe since i have these health issues?

Chronic illness: Patients with chronic conditions are more vulnerable and may develop complications. Use prevention measures and try to stay at home. Good hand washing and disinfecting surfaces may be helpful.

Perspective: You are not more likely to catch COVID-19, but you could do worse secondary to immune dysfunction. Since you do have risk factors, you could potentially be a vaccine candidate early on. Otherwise, use the customary preventative approaches.
