How long since pierc: You will want to see a DR, preferably a dermatologist. You may need to stop using anything in it. A common cause for this is the use of an ointment which causes an allergic or irritant reaction. AVOID bacitracin, neomycin, triple antibiotic, peroxide, tea tree oil as these are common causes for what you describe. Water (shower) is good for this.
