A member asked:

Why do my shingles keep coming back?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Recurrent shingles: If the 'shingles' keep coming back in the same area, it's not shingles - it's herpes. Those viruses are very similar and the eruptions (rashes) they cause can look the same. Both viruses will 'take advantage' of you and come out at times of STRESS or other illness that helps those viruses. Hopefully you can address the causes as to 'why' - if not, see a doc to discuss. There are ways to help u.
