See your DDS: Your general dentist or orthodontist will perform a thorough examination and take full mouth radiographs (x-rays) to determine how to best address your overbite. They will need to determine the type and "severity" of overbite you have.

Yes: Orthodontic treatment always takes overbite and overjet into consideration. Seek a consult to see what your options are.

Overbite: In layman's terms, an "overbite" typically refers to the upper front teeth sticking out horizontally, further than the lower front teeth. An orthodontist defines an "overbite" as the vertical overlap of the upper front teeth over the lower front teeth. Get an opinion from an orthodontic specialist regarding the best option (it depends highly on the severity of your own problem).

Yes: An 'overbite' which most people describe as your top teeth extending beyond your bottom teeth, is correctable with orthodontics. Depending on the severity of your problem, you may need headgear, or temporary implants for the anchorage needed to correct it. If it is not very large, elastics and regular braces will do the trick. See your local orthodontist for a full work up!
