Mindfulness: Probably any form of meditation when done patiently and seriously w/ guidance by a good teacher will improve concentration. Mindfulness is very well suited. I've done it for years. Awareness is improved and that allows you to be more free from distraction. Distraction is most powerful when you are not even aware that it happened. You'll still have to intend to concentrate - but that's up to you.
