You won't: Diuretics make you lose more water and electrolyte through the kidney, which make you to loose weight not gain weight. But it's not a fat loss it's just water.

Diuretics weight: 52 from CA asks if I take diuretics will I get fat? No! One gets fat because they eat more calories than they burn. You might lose about 2 lbs of salt and water but not for long. First question is why do you want to take a diuretic in the first place? Diuretics work by getting rid of sodium (and water) from body. So better 2 just eat less salt. All drugs have side effects. Be certain u need meds
