Sepsis: If you have dental abscesses (infections) yo0u have sepsis. Infection is distributed from the source (teeth) through the blood stream to all of the organs of the body. Antibiotics reduce the spread of infection for as long as they are taken, but infection comes roaring back afterward unless tooth infections are treated (root canal or extraction). Your infected tonsils may be from other source.
