A member asked:

Can i get pregnant without ivf treatment if both my tubes are removed because of previous ectopics?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unfortunately no: Without your tubes present there is no way for the sperm and egg to naturally meet. Therefore higher technology is needed. This means ivf, which allows the meeting of your eggs and your partners sperm to meet outside of the environment of your body and then have the fertilized egg placed back into your uterus a few days later. Ivf has a good success rate but can be expensive.
