TransientParesthesia: A sensation of pricking, tingling, or creeping on the skin. Transient type is very common. Paresthesias that do not persist are unlikely to be associated with a serious medical problem. Most people have experienced a transient type of paresthesia they describe as "my leg falls asleep" or "tingling sensation on my face". Rec.: see your pcp for evaluation.
