When can i give my newborn a bath?

After the cord falls: You can give your baby a bath after the cord has fallen off and the umbilical stump (where the cord has fallen off) is dry. This usually occurs around 2-3 weeks of life.

Anytime: A healthy full term baby can be bathed. Make sure the water is not too hot or too cold as they cannot maintain their temperature well. A short quick bath is best. No hard scrubbing.
