Sinusitis can...: Perhaps, but it is still likely due to an occlusion of drainage of the sinus. Most sinusitis is not a bacterial infection without signs such as discolored nasal mucous, increasing sinus pain, possibly fever, and usually has been going on for at least a week. Sinusitis can still occur from allergies or viral infections, and can present with clear mucus. Try afrin nasal, decongestants.
