If i got an infection from a lumbar puncture how and when would i know.its the day after and back is a little sore.thanks for your wisdom and care?

See below: A little soreness is okay. What it looks like at the needle puncture site is important. If no fever or severe pain or redness/swelling at the injection site or pus coming out, than it's probably fine. If there is any question, just call the physician's office that performed the puncture (or that ordered it).
