Why would a psychiatrist ignore to discuss a concern of having developped an eating disorder after having lost 4 dress sizes and reached a size 0?

It is unclear why: A psychiatrist would ignore these concerns unless there were other pressing issues, like suicidal thoughts. The eating disorder seems pretty clear as a problem which needs to be addressed. Raise them again and/or ask to be referred to an eating disorder program for an evaluation. You may need either intensive outpatient treatment or inpatient care.
