If i have an appendicitis will it be a sharp pain? will i know that's what it is. i have no fever or chills, i just have some dull pain.

Appendicitis: The typical patient with appendicitis will have dull constant pain in the right lower quadrant. The pain will get gradually worse over the next 12-24 hours and be associated with nausea, vomiting, anorexia, and fever. The problem is that many patients will not have classic findings. If the pain is constant, and slowly gets worse, and is on the lower right side of the abdomen, i would see a md.
