Incidental finding: An adrenal adenoma is a common finding on cat scans of the abdomen. Most of the time they are of no concern. Other times they can produce harmful hormones or even be a sign of cancer. Your internal medicine doctor may order more blood tests or even a surgical evaluation based on the size of the adenoma. See your primary care doctor for further instructions.
