Could be...: More likely is mucosal swelling, creating a "one way valve" in the nasal passage(s). If not hypertensive, (or otherwise contraindicated) you could try an otc nasal decongestant like afrin and see if it makes it go away. Don't use afrin for more than 2 days. Use a nasal steroid your doctor could prescribe for long term control of this, if the afrin is successful but the problem recurs.
