Hello,i have a sore throat, a slight cough and a bit of a runny nose. sore throat has lasted for the past 4 days, and is worse at night when i lay down. no fever, no sinus pressure. is this something to be concerned about?

Sinusitis: This sounds like typical case of sinusitis. Not necessarily of bacterial origin. The PND seems to be most bothersome and this can usually be controlled or least slowed by OTC medications. These would include products such as decongestant, antihistamine, and steroid nasal spray.
