Breathe: While that may seem like an overly simplistic answer, breathing slowly and deeply (using your stomach, not just your chest) while focusing on the present moment will help you regain your breath, diminish your anxiety, and return your heart rate to normal. Practice this technique when you are not nervous so you are good at it.

Seek help: Anxiety disorders are very treatable - medications and or therapy usually work well. You should seek help from a psychiatrist. Relaxation therapy, meditation, yoga, stress management therapy can all be helpful.
