I'm on 4mg dilaudid bid for pancreatitis after i take it i get a squeezing/can't breath feeling where my pancreas is, lasts 2-3min is this normal?

Very common: And this side effect may decrease after you have been using this medication for a while. If any of these effects persist, report to your doctor for medication adjustment. Your doctor has prescribed this medication because he/she has thought that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Hope it helps.
