Probably not: If you had all those problems recently, especially the cholecystectomy, some pain with taking deep breaths is just part of the recovery process. Be sure to follow up with your surgeon and primary care doctor as recommended, typically 1-2 weeks after leaving the hospital.

Depends: You had gall stone pancreatitis, most likely due to small stones, good gall bladder was removed. If you are free of retained stones in the biliary ducts unlikely to get another attach of pancreatitis.Second concern will get fluid in the chest ( effusion ) see your doctor most likely will order a chest x-ray, will take couple of wks to recover. Most likely your gastritis also will subside.
