See surgeon: You should see your surgeon. It could be as simple as requiring new glasses. You should not have eye strain after normal cataract surgery once you have received your new glasses. Keep in mind you may be more dependent on reading glasses after cataract surgery, and failure to use these can cause eye strain.

Eye strain cataract: It is hard to say, but you should be able to follow-up with your surgeon or his staff to get this addressed. It could be the difference that remains between the two eyes; sometimes this is too much to get used to. It may be that you have a special lens that you're having trouble adjusting to, or maybe swelling in the front or back of the eye that needs more time or drops. Are your glasses correct.

If your vision: Is good, then this may be related to a need for a change in glasses. You should see your ophthalmologist to have this checked.
