Could be social : anxiety. Tough to say. Talking to psychologist will determine whether you need therapy and what is the diagnosis. You may be processing grief and/or having a sensitivity issue to something else physical. A thorough talk is needed to find out what it is.

So sorry that you: Are dealing w/this. The best thing to do is to find a good therapist. Your doc may be able to recommend one. Social phobia is very treatable. Everyone has vulnerabilities but you may not realize this. Some folks just manage them better. Peace and good health.

Agree W' Dr Self: Have you tried Psychotherapy? Both cognitive behavioral and insight oriented work may be needed. Medication may also help until psychotherapy can help you reduce the anxiety and fear of social situations.
