A general rule of thumb is you have to burn about 3500 calories more than you take in to lose one pound of fat. 4 months is about 120 days, which would mean about one half pound per day would get you past your goal; which would then mean ideally you would expend about 1700 calories more than you take in, an ambitious goal.
